Position Summary
The Commercial Landscape Project Consultant at Complete Landsculpture is responsible for driving revenue growth by identifying, pursuing, and securing sales opportunities for commercial landscaping projects. This role demands a proactive, client-focused professional with strong sales expertise and a passion for landscaping. The salesperson will work closely with clients, designers, and project teams to deliver customized landscape solutions that align with client visions and Complete Landsculpture’s high standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead Generation: Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and referrals, targeting property managers, developers, and municipal clients.
- Client Relationship Management: Build and nurture long-term client relationships by understanding their needs, providing expert advice, and ensuring exceptional service throughout the sales process.
- Proposal Development: Create and present detailed proposals, including site evaluations, cost estimates, and landscape design concepts, tailored to client requirements.
- Contract Negotiation: Negotiate project terms, pricing, and scopes to achieve profitability while meeting client expectations.
- Team Collaboration: Partner with Complete Landsculpture’s landscape architects, designers, and project managers to ensure accurate project scoping and seamless execution.
- Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on landscaping trends, sustainable practices, and local regulations to provide informed recommendations and maintain a competitive edge.
- Sales Tracking: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, pipeline progress, and project outcomes using CRM software, and provide regular reports to management.
- Networking and Branding: Represent Complete Landsculpture at industry events, trade shows, and community activities to promote services and generate leads.
Qualifications
- Experience: 3+ years of sales experience in commercial landscaping, horticulture, or a related field.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in business, landscape architecture, horticulture, or a related discipline preferred; equivalent experience accepted.
- Skills:
- Demonstrated success in achieving sales goals.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
- Knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant materials, and sustainable practices.
- Proficiency with CRM tools, Microsoft Office, and estimating software.
- Ability to interpret site plans and landscape designs.
