Experienced Maintenance Account Manager

Job Summary:

The Maintenance Account Manager is the primary customer point of contact for contracted accounts within the Maintenance Division. This position clearly communicates contract specifications to client and works in conjunction with production to perform services in a profitable manner. The Maintenance Account Manager is responsible for follow-up and follow-through to maintain a positive customer relations, to ensure client satisfaction and contract retention. This position will suggest and sell extra landscape sales, outside of in-contract sales to meet the needs of the property, increase customer satisfaction and gain additional revenue for the company.

Essential Job Functions:

  • Ability to lift, push, pull, carry 80 pounds of material or equipment.
  • Ability to stand, kneel and/or bend for a long period of time.
  • Ability to withstand exposure to outside weather conditions: humidity, rain, hot and cold temperatures.
  • Ability to communicate through use of keyboard, monitor, cell phone and other technical devices.
  • Ability to see with or without corrective aids.

Job Requirements:

  • Must be able to show proof of legal authorization to work in the United States.
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of plant material & horticultural practices. Previous experience with high end residential and commercial properties is required.
  • Understanding of landscape irrigation systems and watering requirements.
  • Basic computer skills utilizing Microsoft Office.
  • Must be able to work a 5-day schedule, may include weekends and holidays.
  • Highly motivated and detailed oriented.
  • Strong Leadership skills.
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills.
  • High level interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform time sensitive task.
  • Must have and maintain a valid state issued driver’s license as well as clear driving record and must pass a criminal background check.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (Bilingual-Spanish a plus).

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Managing production for multiple landscape maintenance crews to meet budgeted hours and margins.
  • Control and handle the routing & sequencing of maintenance crews to meet budgeted hours.
  • Build customer relationships through effective communication, customer service and regular site visits and regular personal client visits for high end residential and commercial clients.
  • Sell enhancement services to Clients (some client sales meetings require appointment times after 5 p.m.)
  • Maintain monthly budgets and report results to management.
  • Train and educate team members to assist in production improvements.
  • Enter data and time, from timesheets, into company computer program.
  • Perform other duties as assign.
